[ATTACK]

On February 11, 2025, 17-year-old Nikita Casap of Waukesha, Wisconsin allegedly killed his mother and stepfather to raise funds for a plot to assassinate US President Donald Trump and overthrow the government, according to an unsealed FBI warrant. Police claim that Casap planned to steal from the victims to fund accelerationist terror attacks and that he was in contact with various individuals who were helping him organize the attacks. He was also active in various extreme-right groups online.

The victims, Tatiana Casap and Donald Mayer, were found in their house with gunshot wounds on February 28 after Mayer’s mother called local police for a wellness check on her son, who she had not heard from in weeks. She had also been contacted by Casap’s school to inform her that he had not been attending class since February 12. Forensic evidence determined that the victims died on February 11.

Following the murders, Casap allegedly trashed the house looking for money. He stole his stepfather’s Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum revolver, which he allegedly used to kill the two victims, as well as Mayer’s car, their cellphones, credit and bank cards, cash, and jewelry. Between the murders and his arrest, he accessed various cryptocurrency accounts. Later that day, Casap was arrested that day while driving the stolen car in Kansas. He was found with the revolver and large amounts of cash in USD and euros.

One of Casap’s classmates claimed to police that he would send her Wikipedia articles on “fascist activists” over Snapchat, as well as other online material on “homo fascism” and “gore edits.” He also told her he was suicidal and considering killing his parents, but threatened her in case she told anyone, as well as that he was in contact with a Russian man whom he had met over Telegram. He told her that the two were hatching a plot to kill the president and overthrow the US government. Police later found messages in Russian with instructions on how to get away with the murders.

Police found Telegram messages with a Ukrainian phone number on Casap’s phone. On January 29, Casap asked the individual, “how long do I need to hide before I will be moved to Ukraine? One or two months?” and then said that he should “probably brush up on [his] Russian.” He also asked, “do the 10 other people have similar beliefs to I? Or are they different?” Casap told his classmate that when she saw ten terrorist attacks in the news, it would be the man he was in contact with.

In a separate message thread with an unknown individual, Casap inquired about purchasing a drone and explosives via Bitcoin. He also asked about headphones to protect his ears from .357 Magnum gunshots. Yet another Telegram contact sent him locations in Oklahoma and California to travel to for an unknown reason, as well as where to obtain a new license plate.

They also found material related to extreme right-wing ideologies such as white supremacy, neo-Nazism, and accelerationism. Casap claimed he was a follower of the Order of Nine Angels, a satanic neo-Nazi group whose members have been involved in terrorism, sexual abuse, and human sacrifice.

Casap’s phone contained a manifesto titled “Accelerate the Collapse,” which he appears to have written. It claims that “jews control all of the White countries” and that “for the White race to survive, it is necessary to accelerate the collapse of the countries.” It states that assassinating President Donald Trump would create chaos and inspire others to commit acts of terrorism in an effort to overthrow the US government.

The manifesto also promotes prominent white supremacist and accelerationist figures, including James Mason, Terrorgram, and the Atomwaffen Division. Additionally, It recommends guides on how to make munitions and carry out terrorist attacks.

Casap has been charged with two counts of first-degree homicide, two counts of hiding a corpse, two counts of identity fraud, one count of theft over $10,000, one count of theft of a firearm, and one count of operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent.
